ABOUT ME

Roy Keister earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from FSU and has an extensive background in operations management, human resources, strategic planning and budgeting. For the last 10 years in the field of early childhood development, Roy has partnered with his wife in guiding Scottsdale Academy. He has taken on numerous influential roles, including his current position as President of the Florida Association for Childcare Management. Prior to early childhood, his professional career crossed from retail to restaurants. After a decade with Dillard’s Department Stores, he was recruited from his position as store manager to guide Steak n’ Shake restaurants for the next 8 years. He left his corner office in Atlanta where he was responsible for 65 restaurants, 8 District Managers and 3,500 employees to support his family’s vision for Scottsdale Academy.
