Florida offers Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) — a free, state-funded program for eligible 4 year olds. It’s one of the best investments you can make in your child’s readiness for kindergarten.

At Scottsdale Academy, VPK isn’t an add-on. It’s taught by our same qualified, experienced teachers using the same engaging curriculum that defines everything we do.

VPK is available at both our Mahan at Fallschase and Southwood locations.

Is My Child Eligible for VPK?

Your child is eligible for Florida's VPK program if they turn 4 years old on or before September 1st of the current school year.

VPK is free for all eligible children. There are no fees for the 3-hour program.

How VPK Prepares Your Child

3-Hour VPK

FREE: 9:00–12:00

VPK Flex

$350/month — 7:00 AM–1:00 PM

VPK Wraparound

$945/month — 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
